Start of internship
I am currently pursuing a Master's in Marine Sciences at the University of Toulon, specializing in analytical chemistry (CHARME program). During my internship at GEOMAR supervised by Martha Gledhill and Ingrid Obernosterer, I am working on the chemical assessment of iron bioavailability for microbes and phytoplankton around the Kerguelen Plateau. My work involves preparing samples for ICP-MS and HPLC analyses coupled with UV, fluorescence, and ESI detection, analyzing the results, and focusing on the role of iron and dissolved organic matter (DOM).
